Founder of CMC

Entrepreneur, Author of books for Children, Coach and Speaker

A Marketing professional with over 15 years experience in branding and product development. She is also trained Image Consultant who specializes in leadership and public speaking development.

​

She has conducted training for various Cayman Islands Government agencies, local businesses and the general public. She has developed public speaking training modules for entities such as the Miss Cayman Islands pageants and hosted global leadership workshops for audiences from Asia to the Caribbean.

​

Annick has been a long standing member of Toastmasters for 21 years serving as a mentor and in leadership roles in the Cayman Islands and Jamaica. (Toastmasters International is a leadership and public speaking organization).

 

In 2018 she won the title of Caribbean Toastmasters Speech Champion making her the first person from the Cayman Islands to represent the Caribbean at the semi-finals of the World Championship of Public Speaking. She is the 2021 Speech Evaluation Champion for the Caribbean.

Blending entrepreneurship and culinary creativity, she created Powder Monkey Gourmet Treats Ltd., a business that not only showcases her innovative recipe development but also embodies her joy in the beauty of food, culture and history. She loves to translate and share the stories that food tells.

Lydia's background in Education laid the foundation for her unique approach to personal and professional development. With a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with career transitions, she penned the book, "From Stress to Serenity: Cultivating Well-Being Through Career Transitions." This work offers readers practical strategies, insights, and inspiration to manage stress and cultivate a sense of serenity and well-being, even during significant career changes.

She brings her wealth of experience, empathetic leadership, and innovative strategies to Caribbean Masterclass with a focus on professionals seeking to elevate their careers, enhance their leadership skills, and improve their overall well-being and mental health. Through her guidance, you will find the tools and support needed to navigate your own professional journey with confidence and grace.

Meet
Georgi-Ann

Georgi-Ann Morgan, music therapist, is committed to harnessing the power of music to facilitate healing and enhance well-being. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill campus, and a master's degree in Music Therapy from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, UK. With over a decade of experience, Georgi-Ann is an HCPC and CPAM registered music therapist based in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

Georgi-Ann is the first Caymanian music therapist and for a decade, has been instrumental in pioneering music therapy initiatives within the Department of Education Services, in the first Music Therapy post created. Her work focuses on serving diverse populations, including children and adolescents with special needs and mental health challenges, and adults working in helping professions. Georgi-Ann specializes in crafting personalized music interventions to address emotional, cognitive, and social goals, fostering growth and empowerment in her clients.

Beyond her clinical practice, Georgi- Ann is deeply committed to mentoring aspiring music therapists, particularly local youth, and advocates for the importance of music therapy in emotional well-being and is a recent contributor to a chapter in the book 'Colonialism and Music Therapy.' As a wife and mother, she holds a profound empathy for mothers navigating the complexities of postpartum experiences and will host an upcoming series of sessions for persons currently on that journey. In addition to her professional endeavors, Georgi-Ann enjoys music listening as well as making music and prioritizes the well-being of those in the helping professions, offering music therapy sessions for school staff. She is the founder of CPAT which has been absorbed into the CMC collective.

 

As a member of the CMC Collective, she will be offering music therapy sessions including the bespoke programme designed specifically for mothers experiencing postpartum.
